RE: CLOSE OUT SALE
Gordon, just a quick note to thank you for running our successful close out sale.
The day you arrived, I gave you control of the store thinking that the Daniel Lynch Sales Method worked the last time during our remodeling sale, so it should work again. However, I had my doubts as we had run a very strong advertising campaign during the winter months by ourselves, and it did not work for us. I wondered on several occasions, could Daniel Lynch make the sales come?
The first morning erased those worries. We had people lined up at the door; we had cars and trucks loading at our shipping doors, and we had deliveries for two trucks. I was amazed to see the action and happy you had complete control! I thought, this cannot continue, tomorrow will be different. Then I remembered we were not open to the public yet. We were only seeing clients that had received the personal invitations.
Our sale was as successful as we wanted. We sold almost everything that was to be sold! We were able to release floor space and our new tenants waiting to move in were excited to see the movement of goods.
I look back on my first attempt to do the sale ourselves, and regret we did not listen to you then! Your system and methods work so well, we cannot understand why we did not use you earlier.
