When we acquired the inventory and location of an existing patio furniture store in January, we knew we would have to sell all of the existing inventory before we could make a fresh start. A friend referred us to your company. Your Canadian division manager, Mr. Gordon Zuliani, responded to us immediately and we began to put a “Going Out of Business” sale in place.
To say that our inventory was fragmented and of questionable quality would be an understatement. Our other concern was whether we could actually sell patio furniture in January.
Mr. Zuliani arrived 1 week prior to the sale and worked hard to get the advertising, furniture layout and pricing completed. On the first day of the sale, on one of the coldest days of the year, there were over 80 people lined up at the door. Over 700 people went through the store that first day. That would have been amazing in July, but this was January!
Considering the quality of our inventory, the cold weather and the time of the year, our sale was a great success. We accomplished our objectives. Throughout the sale Mr. Zuliani worked well with our staff and conducted the sale in a very professional manner. We would recommend your company to anyone in a similar situation as ours.
