We would like to express our appreciation to the Daniel Lynch Sales Company, especially Gordon Zuliani, for an extremely successful ‘Going Out of Business’ sale.

The decision to close our 120-year old, fourth generation family business was not an easy one, but Gord managed the sale and the staff with professionalism and compassion. Gord’s personal retail experience and his sense of humour were great assets, although his golf game leaves a bit to be desired!

The extra sales staff brought in to handle the volume were also very professional and worked very well with our existing sales force. It was truly a team effort.

The first week/four days of our sale had people lined up for a block, an hour before we opened the doors. We had over 7500 people in the store in four days and reached sales of almost one million dollars.

Our sale lasted 9 weeks and generated revenues almost equal to our annual volume. We reached and surpassed our sales goal, with Gord managing to keep advertising costs at 5.2%. Furthermore, we got rid of basically all of our inventory, as well as writing an enormous amount of special order business.
