I would like to thank you and your team for the superb job that you did in managing our closing down sale. The sale achieved results substantially above my expectations and it was “mission accomplished”. This success was largely due to the endeavours of your sale co-ordinator, Kevin Boast.
Kevin performed above and beyond the call of duty. Before Kevin was contacted to start at W&M, he attended a meeting with me to negotiate with the Surrey Advertiser Group of newspapers which are part of the Trinity Mirror. Kevin was instrumental in negotiating an excellent package in terms of price and editorial coverage.
Prior to the sale starting, his planning and organisational skills came to the fore. He advised on types of merchandise to stock, specific suppliers to contact, set out of the POS material, and realistic pricing of models, and then laid out them out on the showroom floor to maximum effect.
During the sale, Kevin was tireless in greeting customers, walking the floors and, showed great salesmanship. He quickly identified “hot spots” on the showrooms floor, rolled up his sleeves and he physically helped move sold models out and new models in to the best-selling locations.
Kevin managed and motivated my staff through the process, working them hard but keeping their spirits high, and despite their fatigue, made sure they kept their focus on the details.
Then, even the day after the sale had officially ended and his contract was ended, he came in to check that the delivery teams were correctly loaded and models in the warehouse were clearly marked up with customer names and order numbers.
In short, Kevin was a true professional and at the same time, he was fun to work alongside. I have no hesitation in unconditionally recommending Daniel Lynch.
