I am following up on the recent Lynch Sales event held in the de Gruchy to say thanks for a great result, beating our sales and gross margin targets as well as coming in under budget on marketing!

As you are aware we had a number of reservations regarding the event, not least given that we had already completed half of the store refurbishment and didnt want to undermine that.

In the event this was not the case, it ran very smoothly, helped significantly by the pre planning with yourself and the running of the promotion by your sales coordinator Steve Domney. He was a tremendous help and support, from set up through to completion. His knowledge, work ethic and friendly approach made him a big hit with the store team.

Now four weeks after the Lynch Sale finished we are busy dealing with customer orders. Importantly sales have held up well since and we are now in the final stages of the store refurbishment.
