Clements Quality at Home

Dear Gareth,

We are just coming up for air following our recent sale event and now wish to take this opportunity to put in writing our experience of the event.

The first thing to say is that throughout this whole process Roy have acted in a professional, enthusiastic, positive and friendly manner. Clearly his experience and knowledge of the retail market is excellent and he has been willing to share that with ourselves for the benefit of Clements. For that we are grateful!

Initially we were unsure about taking the leap of faith required to hold such an event but with hindsight it was absolutely the correct action to take. Throughout it all Roy has never lost sight of what we wanted and how we could achieve the outcome sought.

We appreciate we are a very small business and that as an income earner for Lynch we were never going to compare to the higher turnover companies that you have successfully worked with. However at no point in the whole process were we ever made to feel small or unimportant. On the contrary every avenue and detail was entered into in meticulous detail to ensure the success of the event.

To bring into context the success for our business of the event, we broke the following records:

Highest amount of business written in a single day.

Highest amount of business written in a week.

Highest amount of business written in a month.

We had a queue at the front door for the first time ever!

Highest footfall ever experienced.

The total figure of business written in 11 days was £103,947 which equates to over 18% of our annual turnover last year.

In addition to the figures the experience has also taught us so much about what we need to do in the future and how to manage our business more effectively. It has focused our minds on what is important and will have a lasting legacy on our future performance.

Finally it has been a pleasure to work alongside Roy as he so effectively became part of the team at Clements. We would not hold another such event without him and because of this we would have no hesitation in recommending others to hold such an event. Thank you Roy and thank you Lynch.
