One of the areas’ most distinguished furniture stores, FISHELS FURNITURE, announces the decision to sell their building located at 5 SE Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Portland, and retire from business.  At the conclusion of their Great $4 Million Store Closing Sale, which begins Friday, May 6th, they will close their store to pursue other interests.

“We have enjoyed a tremendous relationship with the people of Portland and surrounding communities for 94 years.  We have now made the strategic decision to close this store and sell out our entire and complete stock”, said Larry Talbott, Owner.

The Lynch Sales Company, an internationally known sale event specialist, based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, will coordinate the Sale.  “We expect tremendous crowds due to the low prices we will be offering.  Everything, including our newest merchandise will be included in this Historic Sale”, said Mr. Talbott.
